Sam Kello Clk ------"------ ========================================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [In the left margin] Johnson John Will In the Name of God Amen I John Johnson Senr of the parish of St Lucks & county of Southampton being of sound & Perfect mind & memory thanks be to God for the same do therefore make& ordain this & no other to be my last will testament hereby Revoking & making Void all former wills heretofore made Vitz First: I give and bequeath my soul to God that gave it Surely trusting through the Mediations of my Bless'd Savior Jesus Christ to receive the same at the General Resurrection & my Body to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors herein after named as for my real & personal Estate I give and dispose of it in manner & form following ______________________ Item: I give and bequeath unto my son John Johnson part of the land I now live on Beginning at a branch that runs across my land a John T Blows line (formerly Jarrells) thence along the said Blows line to Benjamin Williams line thence along the said Benja Williams line to Thomas Williams line thence along the said Tho Williams line to the aforesd branch thence up the said branch to the Beginning to him & his heirs forever wit 2/3 parts on the land whereon I now live Item: I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Ann Johnson 1/3 part of the remains of the land whereon I now live which is not before dispos'd of with all the houses s thereon & her choice of horses then on the plantation with 1/3 part of the remainder of my movable Estate during her life or widowhood & after her decease or day of Marriage all the land to her given with all the rest of my land to sale & descend to my son John Johnson & his heirs forever.
